Gerard Charles Brassard, 78, died Thursday, July 13, 2006 at West Side House. He leaves 4 daughters, Johanna Lolax and her husband Paul Lolax of Holden, Christine DeCosta of Braintree, Marianne Abany of Dedham, and Pandora Christopher of Holbrook; his former wife, Mary Poulos Brassard; a brother, Eugene Brassard and his wife Heather, of Nova Scotia; 3 sisters, Rita Prendergast of Yarmouthport, Elvena A. Blank of Northampton, Beatrice Ouellette of South Burlington, VT., and 2 granddaughters, Theodora and Nicole. Born in Adams, MA, son of Eugene and Nora (Trudeau) Brassard, he served in the Navy during World War II and was a self-employed Master Plumber. He enjoyed painting, the Worcester Art Museum, the films of Jimmy Cagney, and jazz music. |
