MANUEL A. HERNANDEZ

     Manuel A. Hernandez, 78, of Worcester, died Thurs., Oct. 4 at home.

     He leaves his wife of 47 years, Lidia B. (Ayala) Hernandez; nine children: Rosario Castro and Gloria Delgado, both of Virginia, Ana Perez, Guadalupe Reyes, Manuel Hernandez, Vilma Ceron, Carlos Hernandez, Rosa Lima and Zaida Melendez, all of Worcester; 23 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; three brothers and two sisters, among them Rosa Cortez. He was born in El Salvador and came to this country in 1984. Manuel worked for Polar Beverage Co. for several years, retiring in 1991. He was a member of Centro Cristiano Betesda Church. He fulfilled all his dreams to have his family here to succeed.

     The funeral service will held Mon., Oct. 8, at 10:30 AM in Pakachoag Church, 203 Pakachoag St., Auburn. Burial will be in Worc. County Memorial Park, Paxton. Visiting Hours are Sun., Oct. 7, from 5 PM to Midnight at the Church. CALLAHAN & FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 61 Myrtle St. is directing arrangements.
