LAWRENCE M. WATERHOUSE

Dudley – Lawrence M. Waterhouse Sr., age 82, of 23 Quinebaug Road, died Tuesday, June 20, 2006 at Oakwood Rehabilitation & Nursing Center, Webster.

He leaves his wife of 60 years, Lorraine M. (Lucier) Waterhouse; six sons, Lawrence M. Waterhouse Jr., Kenneth R. Waterhouse, Mark A. Waterhouse, Stephen R. Waterhouse, Paul F. Waterhouse and John J. Waterhouse; one daughter, Bette A. Fafard; 11 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

He was born in Worcester, son of the late Wesley D. and Mabel (Sherman) Waterhouse and lived in Dudley most of his life.  He was a World War II U.S. Navy Veteran.  He retired from Norton Company in 1982.  He was a member of the VFW of Webster and of Saint Stephen’s Church in Quinebaug. 

Funeral services were held on Thursday, June 22, 2006 from the Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home, 48 School Street, Webster with a Mass at 12 Noon in Saint Stephen’s Church, Quinebaug.  Burial followed in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton.  Calling hours at the funeral home were Wednesday, June 21, 2006, from 7:00-9:00 pm.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to VNA Care Hospice, 120 Thomas Street, Worcester, MA 01608.
