Jeanette M. Merhib, 77, of Worcester, passed away peacefully, Thursday, May 18th, in the Meadows of Leicester after a brief illness.

Jeanette is survived by her brothers, Charles Merhib and his wife Phyllis of Wellesley, Tony Merhib and his wife Pauline of Leicester; many nieces, and nephews. Born in Utica, New York she was the daughter of Abraham and Mary (Deep) Merhib. She graduated from David Hale Fanning trade school for girls and the Salter's Secretarial School. She was a Korean War, U.S. Navy Veteran, and also and has lived here all her life. Jeanette was Finance Officer for A.M.I. leasing for more than 35 years before retiring in 1999. She was also a cashier for more than 40 years for the Showcase Cinemas in Shrewsbury and Worcester.
