Beatrice M. (Rising) Brown, 76, of Prospect Street, died Thursday, April 13, 2006, in UMass Memorial Healthcare, after an illness. Her husband, Donald Brown, died in 2002. She leaves 3 daughters, Barbara J. Borowy of Oxford, Donna M. O’Packi of Barre, and Jo-Ann M. Regan of Putnam, CT; 5 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. She was born in Worcester, the daughter of Carl and Maud (Stockwell) Rising. Mrs. Brown worked as a knitter for the Worcester Knitting Company. Later she worked for Walmart in North Oxford. | |
