JEANETTE A. KEENEY

Jeannette A. (Riopel) Keeney, 92, of 49 Pleasant Valley Drive, died Friday, March 17th in the Knollwood Nursing Home. Her husband Ralph E. Keeney died in 1982. She leaves a son, Kenneth R. Keeney of Shrewsbury, 2 daughters, Doris M. Manners of Jaffrey, NH and Marilyn A. Pierce of Auburn, 9 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. 6 brothers and 2 sisters predeceased her.

She was born in Auburn the daughter of Joseph H. and Eda (Charland) Riopel. Mrs. Keeney was a graduate of Commerce High School. She had been employed as records department head for the former Worcester Fire Mutual, Hanover and State Mutual insurance companies. Mrs. Keeney had been a long time member of Sacred Heart Parish, and was an active volunteer for its Bingo program, and had also worked as a volunteer for the Worcester Medical Center since she was 65, retiring last year.
