ELAINE S. PRIOR

Elaine (Stahl) Prior, 86, died Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2006 in the Millbury Healthcare Center. Her husband of many years, Raymond W. Prior, died in 1996. She leaves 1 son, Donald W. and his wife Nancy Prior of Millbury and a daughter, Judith N. Prior of Louisville, KY; 2 granddaughters Heidi L. Prior and Kimberly A. Brothers.

Elaine was born in New Brittian, CT , daughter of Ralph and Rachel (Wheelock) Stahl and had resided in Worcester most of her life. Elaine was a graduate of Classical High School. She served as an Administrative Assistant for the former Norton Co. and State Mutual Insurance Co. She was a member of Wesley Methodist Church and she played with the Wesley Choral Bells. She was a member of the Sweet Adelines of Marlboro and Worcester Chapters. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star and she sang with the Worcester Festival Chorus and the Worcester County Light Opera.
