Michael J. Ivanisin, 80 of 100 Mark Bradford Drive, died Wednesday, March 16, 2005 in Saint Vincent’s Hospital. He leaves his wife of 39 years, Evelyn H. (McAuliffe) Ivanisin; two sons, John M. Ivanisin and Paul J. Ivanisin; a daughter, Susan R. Ivanisin all of Holden; a sister, Mary James of Portland, ME; nieces and nephews. A sister, Ann Wormel predeceased him. He was born in Woodland, Maine, son of Paul and Susan(Bires) Ivanisin and had lived in Holden since 1976. He worked as a Mechanical Engineer for Riley Stoker Co. for 40 years before retiring in 1984. He was an Army Veteran of World War II. He was a member of St. George’s Church and an avid collector of hats. He also enjoyed taking pictures.
