Ernest E. Plaud Jr., 42, of Canterbury St. died on Saturday January 15 in St. Vincent Hospital after being stricken ill. Mr. Plaud leaves his wife Kimberly A. (Brunelle) Plaud of Worcester; his parents Ernest E. Plaud Sr. and Shirley M. (Burbo) Plaud of Worcester; a brother Christopher J. Plaud of Worcester; two sisters Karen M. Jasper of Worcester and Pamela A. Brayton of Webster; his maternal grandmother Agnes Burbo – Hildreth; his paternal grandmother Alberta Travers both of Worcester; several aunts, uncles, nephews and nieces. Mr. Plaud was born in Worcester. He worked as an auto mechanic for both Sears Automotive for the past 8 years and Bancroft Tire for the past 5 years. Mr. Plaud was an avid outdoorsman and belonged to the Fun Lovers Bowling League at Auburn Ten Pin. The funeral will be held Thursday January 20 from the Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home (www.Royfuneral.com) 12 Hammond St. with a mass at 10 AM in St. Peter’s Church 931 Main St. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours are on Wednesday January 19 from 5 to 8 PM in the funeral home.
