GLADYS A SWALLOW

Gladys A. (Allen) Swallow, 89, of 40 Lincoln St. died Friday, Aug. 16, in a Framingham nursing home.  Her husband, William E. Swallow, died in 1972.  She leaves a son, William E. Swallow Jr. of Sutton; a daughter, Janice A. Swallow of Atwater, Calif; two grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.  She was born in Auburn and lived most of her life in Spencer.  Mrs. Swallow worked 15 years for Beacon Pharmacy, retiring in 1989.  She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Spencer and the Rebecca Lodge.  The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 20, in Pillsbury Funeral Home, 153 Main St.  Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton.  A calling hour is 1 to 2 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 20, in the funeral home.
