Florence V. “Ginny” (Hill) Russell, 79, of 15 Quabog St., died Monday, August 28 at Kindred Hospital, Leicester. Her husband, Willis E. “Bill” Russell, Jr., died on August 1. She leaves three step-sons, David Russell of Wisconsin, Daniel Russell of New York, and Willis E. Russell III of Worcester; a cousin, Paul Callahan of Paxton; and several step-grandchildren. A fourth step-son, James Russell, died in 1982. She is also predeceased by a brother, Richard Hill, who died during World War II. She was born in Worcester, daughter of Harry C. and Virginia A. (Girard) Hill, and lived in Worcester all her life. Ginny worked in customer service for the banking industry for 30 years, including Worcester County National Bank. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, Sept. 9 at 10:00 a.m. at Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton, Garden of Gospel section. There are no calling hours. Rice Funeral Home, 300 Park Ave, is directing arrangements. | |
