  Betty was 60 years old when she passed away on December 28, 1999, after an illness. She left three daughters, Terry L. Mandel of Worcester, Teddie L. DeBoise of Grafton and Toni Mandel of Mendon; two brothers, George F. Mayo of Oxford and Clayton A. Strew of Hyannis; five sisters, Lois L. Carey of Worcester, June L. Ferguson of Jefferson, Marline M. Nahkala of West Yarmouth, Joan M. Emmett of Naples, Fla., and Alberta M. Beggs of Osterville; two grandchildren; nephews and nieces; grandnephews and grandnieces.  

  She was born in Concord,Vt,; daughter of Francis and Gertrude L. (Flinn) Millet, and lived many years in Worcester and Holden before moving to Grafton three years ago.She worked 10 years in the food service department at the Glavin Regional Center in Shrewsbury, retiring in 1995. She then worked part time at Wendy's Restaurant. 

  A Funeral service was held at 10 am, Friday, December 31, in O’Conner Brother’s Funeral Home, 592 Park Ave., Worcester. Burial was  in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours are 6-9pm Thursday, December 30,at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice of Central Massachusetts, 120 Thomas St., Worcester, MA 01608
