Mary Elizabeth (Harrahy) McLaughlin passed away on August 15, 1999 at home after a brief 
struggle with a brain tumor.  Mary left behind her husband of 40 years John W. McLaughlin, Jr, her 
son James Nelson McLaughlin of Hudson, MA, her daughter and son-in-law Kelley Elizabeth and 
Timothy A. Harris of Jefferson, a grandson, Jonathan William Harris and a grandaughter - Meghan 
Elizabeth Harris both of Jefferson.  Mary was born in Worcester, the daughter of James Nelson 
Harrahy and Mary Elizabeth (Boyle) Harrahy.  She graduated from Commerce High School in 
Worcester in 1943.
