Elizabeth McDonough, 94, of Worcester passed into the loving arms of her Lord and Savior on Friday, August 10th in the Christopher House. Her husband of 37 years, Owen L. McDonough died in 1995. She leaves a daughter, Judith Roach of Holland, MI; a sister, Dorothy Girard of Brewster, MA; two grandchildren, Alfred Daniel Roach II and Ebony Roach; and several nieces and nephews especially, Karen and Amara for all their love, care and concern. She was predeceased by four sisters and a brother.
She was born in Dudley the daughter of Matthias and Ludmila (Yokupsik) Kubik. Elizabeth worked at Jordan Marsh as a clerk for many years. She was a member of Blessed Sacrament Church. Her family and faith played important roles in Elizabeth’s life.
The family would like to thank all of Elizabeth’s caregivers, especially Kim and Kelly for the compassion and support they gave her and a special thanks to Betty Z.
Funeral services are private. There are no calling hours. Burial will be private in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Elizabeth’s name to your favorite charity.
