Sandra Mary (Hadley) Natale, 74, of Leicester, passed away on Saturday, August 30, 2014. She was born on March 7, 1940, in Worcester, MA, daughter of the late, John O. Jr. and Mabelle E. (Wesson) Hadley.

Sandra graduated from The Memorial Hospital School of Nursing in 1962 as a Registered Nurse. She dedicated her life to helping others, a nurse through and through. She was instrumental in establishing the original procedures and staffing at Westborough Nursing Home. She continued to work for several nursing homes in the area and had also cared for the mentally ill at Westborough State Hospital. She not only focused her practice on adult care, but was also a nurse that worked with terminally ill children. She will be greatly missed by all of those lucky to have known her.

She is survived by her two loving children; a son, Michael Natale and his wife Tracy of Cumberland, RI and their beautiful daughters, Marisa, Rebecca and Megan; and another son, James Natale and his wife Denise of Upton. She is also survived by two sisters, Ginny McCallum of Leicester and Murial Cox of Arlington, VA; nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by four brothers and a sister, Robert, John, David and Richard Hadley and Dawn Jorgensen.

Sandra’s family would like to recognize those that were closest and most special to her, they brightened her days and helped her through difficult times; her best friend, Rita Simulus, her nephew George Goodrich and two nieces, Arlene Pechie and Michelle Toule.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, September 13, at 10am in Holy Family Church (St. Joseph), 35 Hamilton Street, Worcester. Interment will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. There are no calling hours.

Sandra’s family will continue to remember her with a “Celebration of Her Life”, following interment services at a place to be announced at church and the cemetery. This will give you an opportunity to gather with her family to share love and memories of her life.

In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to The American Heart Association, 20 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701.
