Subscription Update Obituary

     Robert L. Reno, 80, passed away Wednesday, February 18, 2015 at Saint Vincent Hospital.

He leaves his wife of nearly 54 years, Anne M. (Bergin) Reno; two sons, Bruce A. Laythe and Brian J. Laythe, both of Worcester; four grandchildren and two great grandchildren. He also leaves a sister, Sandra Garrepy; two brothers-in-law, Francis Bergin and his wife Gail of Leicester and David Bergin and his wife Marie of Westborough; a sister-in-law, Maureen R. Reno; and several nephews and nieces. A brother, Michael F. “Mickey” Reno predeceased him in 2008.

He was born in Worcester, son of Wallace and Margaret (LeFebvre) Reno and was an Army Veteran of the Vietnam War. Bob was a bus driver for Worcester Regional Transit Authority for 29 years.

Bob was a car enthusiast and he loved to attend car shows, car racing and even enjoyed building model cars. He also enjoyed riding his motorcycle and bowling.

Visiting hours are Monday, February 23 from 4-6 pm at CALLAHAN~FAY & CASWELL Funeral Home, 61 Myrtle Street, Worcester. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, February 24 at 11:00 am in the funeral home. Burial will follow at Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton.
