Today is February 2, 2013 and I would like to say, "Happy Birthday" to my father.  It has been many years since you have passed away, but there is not a day that goes by that I don't wonder how it would be if you were still here with me.  If only we had the opportunity to spend more time together.  I was very young when I moved away, 11 yrs old to be exact.  I have very good memories of the days I spent when I was a little girl, and you would bring me home a Hershey chocolate bar after being gone over the road in your eighteen wheeler.  I remember you playing the drums and all of us dancing away at the many events you played.  You will never be forgotten, I love you dearly always have an always will.  God bless my dearest Father.  Your daughter Gloria aka Go-Go

To my dearest Father, Today is Father's day 2007, I am missing you deeply.  Although we parted so many years ago, I want you to know that every achievement I make in life, I have you to thank.  I thank you for giving me the strength and courage to move on when things in life get you down.  You taught me never to give up, do your best and to take pride in everything you do.  Those were just some of the words of wisdom I think of when I am thinking of you.  Those simple words have taken me far in life.  Today, I am proud to tell you that I am doing well.  I have worked for the Department of Corrections for ten years now.  I have recently been promoted to Lieutenant of a level 4 correctional insitution!  I reside in Minnesota. I have two beautiful daughters and a son. Brandy is 28, served 4 years in the airforce and is now married living in North Carolina.  Brandy and David have been blessed with two lovely children, Weston and Natalie. ( I am a Grandma!) Lacey is 21, living in Las Vegas she is pursing her career as a cosmotologist.  She travels all over attended hair shows.  Big productions.  Jacob is 5 he is my best man ever!  You would be proud.  As you know we lost two to liver cancer Billy and Larry, I miss them too!  Joe just had open heart surgery, still happily married to Xelda.  Richie and Diane are doing well, Louie of course is healthy but incarcerated once again. Debbie and Davie are doing well. I want you to know that you are missed and loved dearly.  Your time with us ended to soon.  Love you much, Happy Father's Day Daddy   P.S. Thank you for the chocolate bars!
