Noreen E. (Breault) Flavin, 63, of Pine Acres died unexpectedly Friday, July 4, 2014 in St. Vincent Hospital.

She leaves her husband of 40 years, Kevin S. Flavin; two sons, Shawn M. Flavin and his wife Sheila of Sandown, NH and Scott A. Flavin and his wife Marie of West Brookfield; three grandchildren, Alivia, Brianna & Aiden Flavin; her parents, Regis and Irene (Parenteau) Breault of Spencer; two sisters, Lois Breault Melican and her husband Denis of Spencer and Denise Wood and her husband Michael of Cherry Valley; and several nieces and nephews.

Noreen was born in Worcester. She was a Registered Nurse for 35 years at UMass Memorial Hospital retiring last year. She was a member of Christ the King Church in Worcester. She excelled in school and her passion was gardening, antiquing, reading, sewing, cooking, interior design and welcoming friends into her home. Most of all she loved being Mimi to her beautiful grandchildren. We will always be inspired by Noni’s spirit. She was a loving, giving Mother who always put others needs before her own. She will be loved always by many. She was born with a twinkle in her eye and embraced life with a passion that was palpable. Her smile lit up every room she walked into. The childhood she shared with her sisters was filled with adventure everyday.

The funeral will be held Wednesday, July 9 from J. HENRI MORIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terr., Spencer with a Mass at 10:00AM in Christ the King Church, 1052 Pleasant St., Worcester. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours are Tuesday from 4:00-7:00PM in the funeral home.
