Subscription Update Obituary

     Mary Jane (Blanchette) Magnant, 95 passed away Thursday, September 11, 2014 at Brookside Rehabilitation & Health Center in Webster.

Her husband of 48 years, Clarence E. Magnant, Sr. died in 1990. She was also predeceased by a son, Roger L. Magnant who died in 2013.

Mrs. Magnant leaves behind a son, Clarence E. Magnant, Jr. and his wife Sandra of Webster, her daughter-in-law, Sharon L. Magnant of Webster and grandchildren; Jason E. Magnant and his wife Carrie B. Magnant, Crystal M. wife of Paul A. Brown, Dennis L. Magnant and his wife Naomi and Heather J. Wright, 12 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Mary Jane was born in Southbridge, a daughter of Arthur and Regina (Peck) Blanchette and has lived in Webster most of her life.

She was a former volunteer for 30 years with Tri-Valley Services and retired many years ago.

Mary Jane was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church and a member of the Ladies of St. Ann.

She enjoyed knitting, quilting, sewing, patchwork, baking and bingo and was active keeping busy around her home.

There are no calling hours.

Mary Jane’s Funeral will be Monday, September 15, 2014 with a Mass at 10am at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 18 East Main St., (Please Meet at the Church). Burial will follow at Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton, next to her husband.

of MA., 311 Arsenal St., Watertown, MA. 02472. The ROBERT J. MILLER FUNERAL HOME and LAKE CHAPEL, 366 School St. is assisting and directing arrangements.
