Mary Ann (Sherer) Serra, 65 of Worcester, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, May 2, 2016 at UMass Medical Center.
Mary Ann is survived by her daughter, Melissa Serra; her grandson, Steven Serra; three brothers, Carl, Paul and Joseph Sherer all of Worcester; her sister, Rose Sherer of Shrewsbury.
Mary Ann was born in Worcester, a daughter of the late Earl J. and Antoinette M. (Fasano) Sherer. She attended Worcester Public Schools and has lived here all her life.
Services for Mary Ann will be held on Friday, May 6, 2016 from the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St., Worcester with a Mass at 11:00 a.m. at St. Joan of Arc Church, 570 Lincoln St., Worcester. Burial will be held privately. A period of calling hours will be held on Thursday, May 5th from 4-7 p.m. in the funeral home. Flowers are welcome.
