Subscription Update Obituary

     Elliott E. Card, 86, of Worcester, passed away peacefully, in his home, on Saturday, February 7, 2015. His wife, Stacia A. (Marcelionis) Card, predeceased him in July 1997.

Elliott is survived by two daughters, Maureen Buccacio of Ludlow, and Dorothy Hadavi of Shrewsbury; three grandchildren, Marcus Hadavi of Colorado, Kara Hadavi of Shrewsbury, and Derrick Buccacio of Ludlow; a great granddaughter, Ava Buccacio; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by three brothers, Harry, Eugene, and Richard Card. Elliott was born in Hopkinton, Rhode Island, son of the late, Horace and Evelyn (Erbig) Card. Elliott served his nation proudly in the United States Army.

Elliott worked for many years as a truck driver for Heald Machine/Cincinnati Milicron, before he retired. He also worked driving a shuttle van for Wagner Motors of Boylston. He was a member of the former Saint Margaret Mary Church. He had been active as a Knight of Columbus. He enjoyed bowling, visiting with his family and friends, and playing cribbage with his daughter, Maureen.

A Memorial Service for Elliott will be held on Saturday, February 21, at 1 p.m. in MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester. There are no calling hours.
