Subscription Update Obituary

     Donald H. Gould, 77, of Old Webster Road, died peacefully on Friday, April 24, 2015, at UMass Memorial Medical Center in Worcester, after a long battle with multiple medical issues. He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Gail F. (Monfreda) Gould of Oxford; four children, Shari D. Fregeau of Charlotte, NC, John W. Gould of Rock Hill, SC, Thomas A. Gould of Charlotte, NC, and D. Jeffrey Gould of Chapel Hill, NC; a brother, Philip A. Gould of East Longmeadow; two sisters, Gloria G. Barnes of Westfield and Marcia M. Macey of Potsdam, NY; 8 grandchildren, many nephews and nieces, and his cats Zeus and Nuggett. He was predeceased by his sister Carole A. Keller. He was born in Springfield, son of the late Donald W. and Maxine B. (Hardy) Gould, and lived in Oxford for 23 years. He graduated from Agawam High School in 1956 and was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran.

Mr. Gould worked at TJX in Framingham for 28 years, retiring as the Manager of Special Projects in 1995. He was a member of the Marine Corps Association and enjoyed golf and traveling. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, April 29, 2015, at Paradis-Givner Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oxford. Burial will be private at a later date at Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton. Calling hours are Tuesday, April 28, 2015, from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the National Kidney Foundation , 30 East 33rd St., New York, NY 10016.
