Alma E Carlson (Phillips), 86, of Orlando, Florida and formerly of West Boylston, died on December 6th, 2014 after a brief illness.
She is survived by her daughter Paula Alexander and her husband Marcus of London, England; her son John W Carlson and his wife, Jean of Orlando Florida; 2 sisters, Josephine Mullins of Stoughton and Beverley Gates of Hyde Park; five grandchildren, Adam and Joe Carlson, Victoria, Gaius and Torsten Alexander; several nieces and nephews.
Mrs Carlson was born and raised in Jamaica Plain, one of seven children of Robert and Mary (Pidgeon) Phillips. She lived in West Boylston for over 50 years. She was an active member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Worcester where she served for many years on the Altar Committee.
A memorial service will be held on April 18 at 11:00 AM at Trinity Lutheran Church, 73 Lancaster Street, Worcester.
