Subscription Update Obituary

     Aimee Jo (Paris) Dertouzos, 58, died peacefully on Monday, August 11, 2014 at the UMass Memorial Hospital, Worcester.

Aimee was born in Worcester, August 9, 1956, a daughter of the late Ronald B. and Eila T. (Ronnback) Paris. She later lived in Shrewsbury and Templeton. Aimee graduated from Cushing Academy in 1974 and later earned her Associates Degree in 2001 from Quinsigamond Community College, Worcester.

She was the beloved wife of the late George J. Dertouzos who died in 2000. She leaves her son, Alexander J. Dertouzos of Westborough; her sister, April L. Paris of Rutland; her two nephews, Shane R. and Sean F. Regan; her uncle, Oiva Ronnback of Worcester; her aunt, Joan Polen of Denton, TX; and several cousins. She was a “second mom” to William Johnson and Alfred R. Vanasse as well as many of Alex’s close friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Aimee’s family from 4-7 p.m. on Friday, August 15 at Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main St., Holden. Her funeral will be held on Saturday, August 16 from the funeral home with a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10 a.m. at Blessed Sacrament Church, 561 Pleasant St., Worcester. Interment will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton.
