Garden of Valor I

The Garden Of Valor I was built in the late 1960's in order to accommodate the needs of veterans and their families to whom the Garden of Honor was no longer available (it was closed in 1961).  The garden features a granite and bronze marker of Christ overlooking fallen soldiers and is adorned with the simple quote,
"There is a victory in dying well for freedom and ye have not died in vain."
