Garden of Honor
The Garden of Honor, the first dedicated veterans' section of the Park, is surrounded by two American flags and the Five Points, which represent the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines and Coast Guard. The garden opened in the mid-1960's and was so popular that it was closed within two years. To this day, The Garden of Honor has a legacy of being the most special of all the veterans' sections, especially, to the families and friends of the service men and women laid to rest there.
