Subscription Update Obituary

     Yvonne M. (Lavigne) Lagace, 76, of Quobaug Avenue, died Monday, August 19, 2013. She was predeceased by her husband of 24 years, Maurice Lagace who died in 1986.
She is survived by several nephews, nieces, great nephews and great nieces. She was predeceased by four brothers, Richard Lavigne, Robert Lavigne, Roland Lavigne, and Paul Lavigne. She was born in Worcester, the daughter of the late Armand and Clarice (Harpin) Lavigne, and lived in Worcester before moving to Oxford in 1964.
     Mrs. Lagace was an accounting manager at Otari Corp. in Westboro for 12 years before retiring in 1993. Yvonne was a member of St. Roch’s Church in Oxford where she served on various committees. She graduated from Holy Name High School in Worcester in 1955 and Clark University in Worcester in 1971.
     A funeral will be held on Tuesday, August 27, 2013, from Paradis Funeral Home, 357 Main Street, Oxford, followed by a Mass at 10:00 a.m. at St. Roch’s Church, 332 Main Street, Oxford. Burial will follow at Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours are Monday, August 26, 2013, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
