Subscription Update Obituary

     William F. “Bill” Hall, 70, passed away on Thursday, May 23,2013 in UMass Memorial Medical Center. He is survived by his loving wife, Renee J. McCue-Hall (Burke); a son Alan McCue, wife Carol, and grandchildren Jacob and Kailyn; daughter Heidi McCue-Gomes, husband James, and grandchildren Alanna andJesse;daughter, Terry Kargas, and grandchildren Christina, Jaqueline, Elliot, Aiden; daughter, Wendy Brown, husband Richard Brown, grandchildren Gabrielle and Noah; brother Raymond Hall, wife Patt; nieces & nephews. He was predeceased by his first wife Louise Hall; brothers Robert, Alfred and Norman. Bill was born in Norwood, MA, son of the late Albertine (Lizott) of Canada and William of Fall River, MA.
     Bill graduated from Norwood High School and later graduated from Boston College with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. Bill worked in sales management with Eastern Videos for 27 years before retiring. He was a member of St. Aloysius-St .Jude Church of Leciester and the Knights of Columbus. Bill enjoyed traveling, cooking, baking, playing games, golf and fishing. Bill was humorous and had a generous heart. He was known as the “mayor” in his current neighborhood working tirelessly to make improvements to the retirement community in which he lived. Bill loved his pets and was instantly liked by the pets of other owners. He was called the “Pied Piper of Animals” by his family. Bill adored his grandchildren whom he played games with, organized Easter Egg Hunts, organized a trip to Disney World, told bedtime stories to and prayed with because he loved Jesus. Bill will be remembered as a family man who loved his wife, children and grandchildren deeply.
     He will be greatly missed. Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation on Tuesday, May 28, 4 – 7 p.m. in Pillsbury Funeral Home, 163 Main Street, Spencer MA. The funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, May 29, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in St. Aloysius-St. Jude Church, 489 Pleasant St. Leicester, MA.
