Subscription Update Obituary

     Ronald F. Dusoe, 80, of Federal Hill Road, died Wednesday, February 6, 2013, in his home. He is survived by his wife of 19 years, Barbara M. (Starses) Dusoe of Oxford; three children, Lynn Graham and her husband Richard of Las Vegas, NV, Craig Dusoe and his wife Lori of Colorado Springs, CO, and David Dusoe and his wife Joann of Holland, MA; two stepchildren, Donald F. Schmidt of Providence, RI, and Kim L. White of New Hampshire; a brother, Earl Dusoe of Oxford; four sisters, Lorraine Cournoyer of North Grosvenordale, CT; Dolores Blain of Connecticut, Nancy Johnson of Webster, and Barbara Elms of Spencer; five grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and many nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by his first wife, Carol A. Dusoe of Oxford who died in 1992; and his sister, Phyllis Berthiaume. He was born in Worcester, the son of the late Francis P. and Antoinette (Sisk) Dusoe, and was a lifelong resident of Oxford.
     He was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean War.
     Mr. Dusoe was a carpenter throughout his life, retiring as carpenter foreman from E.T.L. Construction in Stow in 1995. Currently, he was working at the Abby House in Worcester. In his younger years, he was a Boy Scout leader, Babe Ruth Baseball coach, and Oxford Little League coach. Mr. Dusoe was a member of the V.F.W. Post 5663 in Oxford and was an associate of the Franciscan Nuns. He was a member of St. Roch’s Church, where he also served as a greeter and usher.
     A funeral will be held on Monday, February 11, 2013, from Paradis Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oxford, followed by a Mass at 10 a.m. at St. Roch’s Church, 332 Main St., Oxford. Burial will be private at a later date at Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton. Calling hours are Sunday, February 10, 2013, from 4-7 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Abby House, 52 High St., Worcester, MA 01609.
