Subscription Update Obituary

     Robert Woodward, “Bob”, “Woody”, 65, of Worcester, passed away Friday, November 22, 2013, surrounded by his loving family.

     Robert leaves his loving wife, Deborah (Galdauckas); a sister, Nancy Shepard of Tampa, FL; two sons, Richard Woodward and William Woodward and his wife Karen of Leominster; daughter, Jennifer and her husband Joe Scott of Leominster; two step-daughters, Jessica Hazard of Thompson, CT and Jennifer Killoran of Worcester.

     He also leaves nine adored grandchildren, Kayla, Amanda, Noah, Rylie and Alayna Woodward, Briazjah and Trishannah Scott, Rae’anne and Maxine Hazard; and several nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by a grandson, Jakobe Scott.

     He was born in Fitchburg, son of Richard and Beatrice (Morse) Woodward, served in the U.S. Navy from 1965-1969, and was discharged from the Norfolk Virginia Naval Base. Robert retired from the Haartz Corporation after 37 years of employment.

     Calling hours are Monday, November 25, from 5-8 pm at CALLAHAN & FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 61 Myrtle Street. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 26 at 11 AM at the Armenian Church of our Saviour, 87 Salisbury St., Worcester. Burial will follow at Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton.

     Donations may be made in Robert’s honor to either, the American Heart Association , the American Diabetes Association , or the Armenian Church of Our Saviour.
