Subscription Update Obituary

     Paul J. Plante, 89, passed away peacefully January 22, 2013 at Countryside Healthcare in Milford. His wife of 62 years Irene (Castonguay) passed away in 2009. Paul is survived by his daughter Linda Daigneault, son Roger W. Plante and his wife Cherie and son Dennis J. Plante, 4 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. His son Paul J. Plante and brother Henry Plante predeceased him.
     Paul was born in Canada September 9, 1923. His parents Emile and Noella Plante moved to the United States when Paul and his brother Henry were still young boys. Paul proudly served in the US Army in Germany during World War II as a translator. Following the war he married his wife Irene and they raised their family in Grafton. Paul worked for many years as a Weaver in South Grafton and Fall River. He loved to build and repair electronics, particularly televisions and radios and was an avid photographer. His family would like to extend sincere thanks to the staff at Countryside Health Care in Milford for their compassionate care of Paul and request memorial donations to honor him in lieu of flowers to Countryside Health Care 1 Countryside Drive Milford MA 01757.
     All are invited to a calling hour for Paul Monday January 28th from 9:30-10:30am followed by a Prayer Service at 10:30 at RONEY FUNERAL HOME 152 Worcester St. N. Grafton MA 01536. He will then be laid to rest with Military Honors at Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton.
