Subscription Update Obituary

     Pasquale A. “Pat” Lapriore, 84 of Worcester died peacefully Wednesday April 2, in the Beaumont of Worcester surrounded by his loving family. “Pat” leaves his devoted wife of 59 years Florence (Gabriele) Lapriore, his loving children; Michael L. Lapriore and his wife Gail of Shrewsbury, Mark J. Lapriore and daughter in law Cindy of Charlton. Pasquale was the doting grandfather to Kaitlyn, Matthew, Ashley, and Michael. He also leaves many nephews and nieces. Pasquale was predeceased by all his siblings; Angelo, Michael, Frank, and Robert Lapriore, Antoinette Simoncini, Madeline Troiano,Angelina Lapriore, and Josephine Pizzarella.

Pasquale was born in Worcester son of the late Angelo and Angelina (Lanava) Lapriore and lived here all his life. He was a graduate of Commerce High School. Pasquale served his country proudly during the Korean War as a United States Marine. He was a past President and Business Agent for over 30 years for the International Association of Heat and Frost Insulators and Asbestos Workers Local #6 Union.

Pasquale was a life member of the Church of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel-St Ann, and the Disabled American Veterans Association. He enjoyed gardening , loved to read the newspaper and be at home with his family around him. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends. Pat’s family would like to thank the entire staff at the Beaumont of Worcester for all their kindness and compassion shown to Pasquale during his stay there.

Pat’s funeral will be held Saturday April 5 from the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL 370 Plantation St. with a Mass of Christian burial at 10:00AM in the Church of Our Lady of Mt.Carmel-St Ann 24 Mulberry St. A calling hour will be held on Saturday morning only from 8:30AM to 9:30AM. Interment with Military Honors will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Contributions may be made to Our Lady of Mt. Carmel-St Ann Church Renovation Fund at the above address.
