Subscription Update Obituary

     Mary G. (Grenier) Bourke, 85, of Worcester died Thursday, January 31 in the Parson Hills Nursing Center.
     Her husband, William J. Bourke died in 1982. She leaves three children, Maria P. and her husband John J. Chasse of Rutland, Sharon A. and her husband Charles W. Janda of Glen Carbon, IL and Malachi M. and his wife Patricia A. Kelley of Jefferson; five grand-children, Mark W. Janda, Juliane M. Knight, Lisa M. Gigliotti, Seamus Kelley and Terence C. Kelley; eight great-grandchildren and a sister in law, Barbara Bellerose of Worcester. Her grandson, Matthew M. Chasse and her brother, Rev. Carlton Grenier predeceased her. She was born in Worcester, daughter of Hector W. and Mary E. (Burns) Grenier and graduated from South High School.
Mary worked as a supervisor for 35 years at the former New England Telephone Company, before retiring. She was a longtime member of St. George’s Church and The Telephone Pioneers of America.
     The Funeral will be held Tuesday, February 5, from FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 1 West Boylston St., West Boylston with a Mass at 10 AM in St. George’s Church, 38 Brattle St. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family. Visiting Hours are Monday, February 4 from 5 to 7 PM at the funeral home.
