    Mary J. (Lloyd) Matako, age 88, of 103 Brook Street, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family.

    She was the wife of the late Harold Matako. She leaves two daughters, Nancy Pyne and her husband Edward of Leicester, Carolyn Lamothe of Shrewsbury; a brother, James Lloyd of Worcester; five grandchildren, Cheryl, Nancy, Lori, Christa and Joseph; several great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Thomas Lloyd and by two sisters, Evelyn Bissonette and Theresa Chenevert.

    She was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Lucier) Lloyd and lived in Worcester before moving to Cherry Valley ten years ago. She retired from Presmet in Worcester.

    Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 23, 2010, at 9:00 a.m. in Christ the King Church, 1052 Pleasant Street, Worcester. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park. There are no calling hours. Omit flowers, donations can be made to Christ the King Church. Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home, 48 School Street, Webster is directing arrangements.
