Subscription Update Obituary

     Madeline J. (Stevens) Seaman, 94, of Auburn, died peacefully at Life Care Center of Auburn on Tuesday, November 27, 2012. Her beloved husband, William L. Seaman died in 1992.
     She leaves her six children, Willena Payne of Oxford, NS, Canada, Charles Seaman and his wife Margaret of Chatham, Ont., Canada, Shirley A. Graves of Sutton, Richard Seaman and his wife Mary of Sturbridge, Marjorie Griffith and her husband David of Valkaria, FL, and Judith Chilton and her husband Joseph of Auburn; her 17 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren and 13 great great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her brother, Harold Stevens. Madeline was born in Middleboro, NS, Canada, daughter of the late Asa G. and Annie (Mitchell) Stevens. She graduated from Margaret King High School. She lived many years in Canada before moving to Auburn. A wonderful homemaker, Madeline was a talented seamstress and loved to knit, creating multitudes of scarves and mittens for all the little ones.
     Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Madeline’s family on Sunday, December 2nd from 2-5 PM in the Britton-Wallace Funeral Home, 91 Central Street, Auburn. A private service honoring and celebrating her life will be held on Monday, December 3rd in the funeral home, followed by burial in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton.
