Subscription Update Obituary

     Louise F. (Lewis) Richards, 91, of 31 Nelson Street, North Grafton, passed peacefully February 18, 2013 at home. Her husband of 57 years, Norman L. Richards passed in 2003.
     She leaves her three daughters; Joanne L. Erenius and her husband Richard of North Grafton, Diana M. Browning and her husband Paul of Webster and Sandra J. Wilkins and her husband Stephen of Dennisport; three granddaughters, Elissa Bernia, Meghann and Emily Lazott and one grandson, Asa Bernia.
     Louise was born August 25, 1921 in Provincetown the daughter of the late Joseph and Virginia (Souza) Lewis and lived many years in North Grafton. She graduated from Provincetown High School and then attended The Salter Secretarial School. She then worked for The NYNEX Telephone Co. until retiring.
     Louise was a parishioner of St. Mary’s Church in North Grafton and a member of The Grafton Women’s Club, D.A.V.A. Unit # 4 of Worcester, The Telephone Pioneers of America and an honorary member of the 43rd Infantry Division Veteran’s Association in Rhode Island. She also served for 13 years as a Girl Scout Troop Leader and neighborhood chairman, treasurer and trip coordinator with Worcester AARP # 209. Louise enjoyed music, many types of needlework, was an avid reader and loved to travel and lunch with the “Wednesday Ladies Group”.
     The family asks that you remember Louise with donations to St. Mary’s Church, Mary’s Garden, 17 Waterville St. N. Grafton MA 01536 or to The Maryknoll Fathers, PO Box 301, Maryknoll NY 10545-9989 in lieu of flowers.
     All are invited to the celebration of a Funeral Mass for Louise on Thursday February 21st at 11 AM in her Parish Church of St. Mary, 17 Waterville St., North Grafton. She will then be laid at rest with her husband at Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton. There are no calling hours.
