Subscription Update Obituary

     Leahna L. “Deborah” (Ventura) Lacerte, 56, of Worcester died Monday, December 17th at home. She leaves her husband of 27 years, Ralph C. Lacerte; a daughter, Olivia LaBaire of Clinton; five brothers, Charles, Thomas, Paul, Francis and Steven; six sisters, Carol, Linda, Marylou, Elaine and Ann; two grandchildren, Jayden and Bethanie; her mother in law, Antoinette Lacerte; three sister in laws, Mayrose, Donna and Michelle “Miki”; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. She also leaves her beloved cat, Harley. She was predeceased by her sister, Catherine.
     She was born in Stoneham, the daughter of Charles and Lucy (Delaney) Ventura. Mrs. Lacerte attended Rob Roy Academy and was an accomplished cosmetologist and hair stylist at several area salons. Leahna was a member of Bethany Gospel Chapel. She enjoyed dancing, singing and crafts. Leahna especially enjoyed reading her Bible.
     Her funeral service is Saturday, December 22nd in O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue, Worcester with a service at 10:00 AM in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. A calling hour will be held from 9:00 until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the National Fibromyalgia Association, 2121 South Towne Centre Place, Suite 300, Anaheim, CA 92806.
