Subscription Update Obituary

     Laura D. (Dumas) Rabidou, 93, of Worcester, passed away on Wednesday, June 19, 2013, in Knollwood Nursing and Rehabilitation, surrounded by loving family.
     She is survived by two sons, Robert Fournier and his wife Gail of Rocklin, CA and Leon A. Rabidou and his wife Wanda Jane Warmack of Plymouth; a daughter, Christine A. Pats and her husband Peter Pats, Jr. of Worcester; eleven grandchildren including, Pamela J. Pats of Worcester and Dr. Ann Marie C. Murray and her husband Sean of Worcester; several great grandchildren including Gavin J. Murray and Gianna A. Murray; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two sons, Normand P. Fournier and Ronald J. Fournier; three brothers and four sisters.
     Laura was born in Spencer, daughter of the late Joseph N. and Corrinne (Query) Dumas and lived in Connecticut, before moving to Worcester in 1980.
     Laura worked for Sears, retiring in 1990. She had previously worked as a bank teller. She was a member of Saint Joan of Arc Church and The 49ers Club at Pleasant Valley Drive.
     Calling hours and Funeral will be held today (Friday), June 21. Calling hours will be from 9 a.m. until 10:30 in MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester, followed by a procession to Saint Joan of Arc Church, 570 Lincoln Street, Worcester, where Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton.
