Subscription Update Obituary

     Hilda Ann (Graham) Benson, 91, passed away on Thursday, March 20, 2014 at Evergreen Woods in Spring Hill, FL after an illness. She was born in Worcester, the daughter of Robert and Dorothy (Heritage) Graham and had lived in Winchendon, Brooksville, FL, and Holden before moving to Weeki Wachee, FL in 2007.

     Her loving husband of 51 years, Kenneth L. Benson, passed away in 1997. She leaves two sons, Kenneth G. Benson and his wife, Catherine of Spring Hill, FL and Gary Benson and his wife, Carole of Weeki Wachee, FL; a brother, James Graham of Beverly Hills, FL; a sister, Margaret Loss of Thompson, CT; four grandchildren, Peter Benson of Phoenix, AZ, Tess Hickey of Rutland, Matthew and Gregory Benson, both of Carson City, NV; six great-grandchildren; and several nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by three sisters, Florence Goodell, Dorothy Radcliff and Jean Wagner and a brother, Robert Graham.

     Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours from 3 to 6 p.m. on Thursday, March 27, in the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street, Holden. Funeral services for Hilda will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, March 28, in the funeral home followed by a committal service at Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the building fund of the First Presbyterian Church, 125 Holden Street, Worcester, MA 01606.
