Subscription Update Obituary

     Helen (Krals) Graves, 96, of Worcester passed away Saturday, June 22nd at Beaumont Skilled Nursing Center in Worcester. Her husband, Clarence Graves died in 1990. She leaves a stepdaughter, Sue Spear and her husband, Roland of Oxford, several grandchildren and two great granddaughters, Amber and Kayla. She was predeceased by her brother, Alfred Krals and a sister, Irene Dyson.
     She was born in Worcester, the daughter of Nicholas and Caroline Krals. Helen graduated from the former High School of Commerce and was a veteran of the United States Coast Guard serving during World War II. She worked at Mechanics Bank and retired from Worcester Academy as a bookkeeper. Helen enjoyed spending time with her yorkies, watching old movies and QVC. When Helen’s vision went she loved listening to her music.
     The family would like to thank the staff at Beaumont that became her family for the past 6 years. Showing her and her family great compassion in her daily life and in her final days. Also the Salmon hospice care workers for the care and compassion in her final days.
     Burial will be held privately in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Beaumont Skilled Nursing Center of Worcester, Attn: Activities Department, 378 Plantation Street, Worcester, MA 01605. O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue is directing arrangements.
