Subscription Update Obituary

     Geralda M. (Lussier) Girouard, 80, of 115 Ash St., died Monday, Feb. 18, 2013 at Quaboag Rehab & Skilled Nursing Center in W. Brookfield with her family at her side.
     She was the wife of Louis M. Girouard who died in 2001. She leaves two sons, Reginald L. Girouard, Sr. and his wife Sandra and Jean Paul Girouard and his wife Karen all of Spencer; two daughters, Carol Ann Brown of Kansas City, Missouri, and Geralyn M. Morin and her husband Mark of E. Brookfield; two sisters, Rita Martineau of Windsor, Ct., and Marcella Jacquish of Orleans, Vt.; 7 grandchildren, Sharon Grieves, Reginald Girouard, Jr., Michael Girouard, Shaun Girouard, Kevin Brown, Jennifer Kane and Ellen Morin; 8 great grandchildren, Brittany, Lucas, Gabriel, Jason, Jillian, Collin, Christopher and Tea; several nieces and nephews.
     Mrs. Girouard worked at Montrose Wire & Cable in Auburn for many years, retiring in 1990.
Born in Brownington, Vt., she was the daughter of Hormidas and Alice (LaPlante) Lussier. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Church where she was a Eucharistic Minister, and the Lashaway Senior Citizens Club. She enjoyed playing cards, dominos, going to the casino and volunteering for the annual USO Golf Tournament in E. Brookfield.
     The funeral will be held on Thursday, Feb. 21 from the J.HENRI MORIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terr., Spencer with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. John the Baptist Church, No. Brookfield Rd., E. Brookfield. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours are Wednesday from 5 to 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Lung Assoc ., 460 Totten Pond Rd., Suite 400, Waltham, MA 02451.
