Subscription Update Obituary

     Gail A. Kohlstrom, 62, passed away on Wednesday, April 2, 2014 at UMass Memorial Healthcare – University Campus after an illness. She was born in Worcester, the daughter of Frank F., Sr. and Gladys L. (Parent) Kohlstrom and graduated from Wachusett Regional High School. She lived in Holden most of her life.

     She leaves five brothers, Richard Kohlstrom and his wife, Judy of Palm Harbor, FL, Kevin Kohlstrom and his wife, Linda Moriarty of Hubbardston, Frank “Chipper” Kohlstrom, Jr. and his wife, Barbara of Holden, Brian Kohlstrom and his wife, Carol Ellerbeck of Northborough and Steven Kohlstrom and his partner, Dennis Labria of San Francisco, CA; a sister, Donna Kohlstrom and her husband, Frank Jones of Clermont, FL; four nephews, Scott, Mark, Adam and Nicholas Kohlstrom; three nieces, Sarah Kay, Jessica and Jillian Kohlstrom; and several grandnephews and grandnieces.

     Gail was a housekeeper at the Morgan Motor Inn in Westborough for many years. She enjoyed music and family celebrations.

     Relatives and friends are invited to attend a calling hour from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Friday, April 11, 2014, followed by a memorial service at 1:00 p.m. in the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street (Rte. 122A), Holden. A private committal service will be held at Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
