Fabiola E. (Zuidema) Zuidema, 86, of Auburn died Saturday, August 3rd 2013 in the Life Care Center of Auburn. Her husband of 31 years, Peter Zuidema died in 2009. She leaves three step-sons, Wayne P. Zuidema, Albert D. Zuidema and Gary D. Zuidema; a brother, Edmorse W. Zuidema of CA; a sister, Doris Garand; two grandchildren, Stephanie and Mandy; five great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews including Bryan Stewart and Lynn Conrad. She was predeceased by a daughter, Janet L. Zuidema who died in 2001; a step-son, Gus Zuidema; a brother, Kenneth A. Zuidema and a sister, Blanche Stewart.
     She was born in Millbury, the daughter of Peter and Exelina D. (Cofske) Zuidema. Fabiola worked at S & D and Sons for 12 years as a textile worker and winder. She loved playing the organ and camping. Mrs. Zuidema was a great care giver and enjoyed taking care of Pete while he was sick.
     Funeral services and burial are private. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association , 10 Speen Street, 2nd Floor, Framingham, MA 01701. O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue is directing arrangements.
