Subscription Update Obituary

     Doris R. (Parenteau) Plouffe, 85, of Worcester passed away Friday, April 11 in St. Vincent Hospital.

     Her husband of 52 years, Leon F. Plouffe died in 2002. She leaves a son, Stephen W. Plouffe and his partner, David Swan of Lexington; two daugthers, Dianne M. Dagostino and her husband, George of Jefferson and Lynn A. Stevens of Worcester; two sisters, Rose Erickson of Worcester and Eileen Boucher of Canada; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; a great-great grandchild and nieces and nephews. She was born in Cherry Valley, daughter of Arthur and Dorina (Premeau) Parenteau.

     Doris worked in the Quality Control Department for Digital Corporation for many years, before retiring. She was a member of St. Christopher’s Church. Doris was a perfectionist when it came to her vegetable and flower gardens.

     Visiting Hours are Wednesday, April 16 from 8:00 to 9:30 AM at FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 1 West Boylston St., West Boylston followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM in St. Christopher’s Church, 950 West Boylston St. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer, 30 Speen St., Framingham, 01701.
