Doris A. (Carlstrom) Plante, 93, passed away May 11, 2007 after a long illness. Her husband Elzear Plante passed in 1979. She is survived by 2 children, her son David E. Plante of North Grafton and her daughter Joan Turner of Gastonia N. Carolina; one brother, 4 sisters, three grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. One of 18 children she was predeceased by twelve other siblings. Mrs. Plante was born May 9, 1914 in Stockholm, Maine the daughter of Peter and Bessie (McGuire) Carlstrom. She lived many years in Worcester, several years in Auburn and in N. Carolina. She worked as a waitress in this area for many years.
Funeral services will be at the convenience of her family. She will be laid to rest with her husband in Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton. There are no calling hours. If desired memorial donations may be made at the choice of the donor.
