Subscription Update Obituary

     Coleen R. (Belanger) Brewster, 66, of Ware passed away Saturday, March 15, 2014 at Mass. General Hospital after an illness. Her husband of 41 years, Henry G. “Red” Brewster predeceased her in 2011.

     She leaves four children; Kevin J. Brewster and his wife Christy of W. Warren, Scott H. Brewster of Ware, Robin A. Sinclair and her husband Darryl of W. Warren and David J. Brewster and his wife Misty of Ferrelview, MO; and four grandchildren, Ashley, Kristopher, Gavin and Avery. She also leaves her sister Gladys “Ginger” Magee of Randolph, and two brothers, John “Jay” Belanger of Portland, OR and Daniel Belanger of Shrewsbury; and many nephews and nieces. Coleen was predeceased by two sisters, Cheryl Menanson and Denise McShane and a brother, Joel Belanger.

     She was born in Methuen, daughter of John G. and Gladys F. (Nutton) Belanger and graduated from Holy Name High School in Worcester. Coleen was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother. Spending time with her family is what she truly enjoyed most.

     The funeral will be held on Wednesday, March 19 from CALLAHAN & FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 61 Myrtle Street, Worcester, with a Mass at 10 AM at Our Lady of the Angels Church, 1222 Main Street, Worcester. Burial will follow at Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Visiting hours are Tuesday, March 18 from 4-8 PM at the funeral home.

     In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Coleen’s memory to Marine Toys for Tots Foundation – Gift Processing Administrator, 18251 Quantico Gateway Drive, Triangle, VA 22172.
