Armen Joseph “Joe” of Berlin passed away on Tuesday July 23rd at the age of 94 after battling cancer. Armen was a proud World War II veteran who served as a Staff Sergeant in the US Army. He was last employed as an armored car guard and driver before retiring. During his recent years he enjoyed traveling, handy work, calligraphy, painting and spending time with his family. In his younger years, Armen devoted his time to being a member of the D.A.V and the American legion Post in Spencer.
     He is survived by his wife of 33 years Mary Ann (McDonald) Mikielian; Daughters Armenda Wendler of Lancaster, Jo-Ann Bienkiewicz and her Husband Albert Bienkiewicz of Clinton; Step son Peter McDonald of Way., Cheryl Cafarelli of Shrewsbury; Grandchildren Peter Bienkiewicz and wife Kerrie Baer, Melissa Cypull and husband Ted Cypull, Dominic Cafarelli; and numerous nieces and nephews.
     He is preceded by his first wife Helen (Gleason) Mikielian: Parents Olga and Charles; Brothers Peter and Manuel; and sister Margaret Poole.
     There will be no calling hours. Family burial and memorial service will be at the families convenience.
